Montceau les mines to Chalon-sur-Saône

Another easy day, cycling the canals of Burgundy.  We put in 40 miles on a very enjoyable Sunday.   There were lots of couple, families and a few hardcore cyclist on the trails and roads.  It was very relaxing.

We got to see a few working and recreational barges on the canals today, which was fun.  Lots of people fishing and picnicing along the river.

We had a nice picnic lunch along the canal and got to see a barge go through the lock.

We enjoyed lots of pretty homes and flowers along our journey.

Our lodging for the night is not too shabby.

Perhaps we can get Lori to play a tune after dinner tonight.
