Besançon to Monbiliard

Okay, here is the scoop today.  We compled a 57 mile ride.  It was our 15th day in a row of cycling.  We are 8 miles from Switzerland and are very close to completing our ride across France.  So far, we have covered 694 miles.

You can tell in this picture that  Beth took that the terrain and climate have changed.  It was much hillier today and the trees are looking a little "Fallish."

We were fortunate to follow the river and canals of the Doubs River today.  The ride was little or no traffic, the weather was great and much of the trail was shaded.

We cycled in perfect weather all day, now we are on the blue dot and it is raining and thundering.  We are going to enjoy the rain while sipping on beer and enjoying our last French meal in France.
